Updating Small Group Information 

Keeping small group information current is vital for smooth operation and fostering a strong sense of community. 

Updating Group Information

  • Log in to Church Center Groups via a computer.
  • Click log in, and you will be prompted to input your phone number.   
  • Input the security code that was sent to your phone, and log in as yourself.
  • Select your group.
  • Click the actions button on the top right of the page, and select Manage on Planning Center.
  • You will be directed to your group page in Planning Center Groups.
  • Here you can update all things that pertain to your group.
  • In Members:
    • You can add or remove people
    • You can set who you want to take attendance for the group.
    • You can also email the group.
  • In events:
    • You can set up your small group meeting dates.
      • This generates group attendance emails.
  • In settings:
    • You can update the group information that is visible to those looking for a group.
    • You can change the group profile picture.
  • There is also a resource link where you can find various tools and sermon notes.
  • You can see your group statistics in the report area.

Using the Church Center App:

The Church Center App is a nice resource for quick updates to events and adding people, but it does not update all group information like the website. 
  • Download the app from your favorite app store.
  • Click get started, and continue. 
  • Allo once  to use your location, and scroll and click on Watermark Church
  • Click log in, type in your phone number, and input the security code when prompted.
  • Log in as yourself, select groups at the bottom of the app, and select your group.
  • Here you can:
    • Create/Edit Events.
    • Add People to the group.
    • Download Resources.
    • View group members and their attendance.
    • Chat with the group.
