Waypoint is defined as an intermediate point on a route or line of travel. Middle School is kind of like a waypoint for students as they transition from being a kid to a young adult. While in Waypoint, we will work our way through a study called "The Thread" in our small groups. The idea is to help students establish a firm foundation of faith that will be beneficial for your journey to their next destination.
The ultimate goal of what we do in middle school is to get students into a small group led by adults to help give your student another trusted adult voice in their life. An adult that is going say the same things that you are saying about faith. This is also safe place for students to share what’s going on in their lives. We feel this is the best avenue for students to take steps to love God, love people, and serve the world.
Waypoint meets in the Chapel at 9:30 and 11:00.
Discovering the Thread of the Gospel Through the Big-Picture Story of the Bible
The Thread is our study we use while in small groups. In this study, we will discuss God's story, and how God wove His thread of love through every page of the Bible.
