WATERMARK KIDS

Watermark Kids is our Sunday morning environment for elementary age children (K-6th grade).

Watermark Kids is where children learn how to navigate the Bible, worship God, and build longlasting friendships with each other. Sunday mornings should be exciting! The music is loud and leaders care! We want to make sure our kids experience God in a fun and relevant way!

Before kids transition to middle school we want them to know:

  • Make the wise choice.
  • Trust God no matter what.
  • Treat others the way I want to be treated.

KIDSTUF

Wednesday Nights | 6pm-8pm |  K-6th grade

Kidstuf is where kids come to have fun while being reintroduced to what they learned on Sunday.

Parents Check their kids in at the table in the foyer between 5:45pm and 6:00pm. We feed the kids ($3 each) and then they hang out with their small group leaders.  Weather permitting, we usually let them play outside to run some of that energy out!  At 7:00pm the kids come inside for an exciting hour of Kidstuf!  We use skits, music, video, and all kinds of wacky stuff to get your kids in tune and involved!  They get a different version of what they learned on Sunday.

Parents, if you're not involved in one of our Wednesday night adult small groups, you are welcome to join us for Kidstuf on Wednesday nights.  It's relevant for parents too!

KIDSTUF ONLY MEETS WHILE ADULT SMALL GROUPS ARE IN SESSION

What does Watermark Kids look like?

After signing in at the Watermark Kids registration desk, kids will go to their assigned small group room. Each child is greeted by their small group leader. Kids will participate in an opening activity that is meant to introduce the bottom line for the morning.

Large Group Environment

Soon after arriving, small groups are moved to our large group environment where they hear the Bible story. Kids learn God's Word and how to apply it to their lives through skits, music, and storytelling.

Small Group Environment

After participating in large group, kids go back to their small group classroom. There they begin to unpack what it means to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, see how God's Word applies to their life, and see how His truth really tells them how to live. Kids not only build a deeper relationship with God, but also with their small group leader and each other.

What Can we do together?

Parents, we want to partner with you to help lead your child into a growing relationship with Jesus.  We believe that kids need to hear the same thing at home as they do at church.

We provide many resources for you that will help us partner together for a common goal.  We have "God Time Cards" that are simple daily devotions for you to do together.  There is also a "parent cue" that gives you many ideas on how to talk about what they've learned n Sunday morning and Wednesday night.

We care about your family. Feel free to contact us any time at 334-899-3624 or cmcinnish@watermark-church.com
